I love this tablet!

I love my Samsung Galaxy tablet! I bought this because I liked the fact that you can split the screen and take notes. Being a teacher, these features are extremely helpful when lesson planning: on one side of my split screen is some internet search I'm doing for a lesson I'm planning, and on the other side is the SNote app where I use the cool pen that come with this tablet to make all kinds of notes. I love the size of this tablet. I love that I can easily work on, save, and email my documents. It's a great tablet if you're a worker! It's also great for apps and games. My only issue is that not all apps are compatible, it's not able to run Java, and some videos won't work because the android system won't work with certain plug-ins. Compared to other tablets, I still prefer this one because of how much I can do. I know everyone thinks iPads are the way to go, but personally I think the Samsung is worth it!Read full review...

Fantastic Value - Like New - will be buying another

Bought to replace 15.4" laptop for travel and lite use around house. Loaned to wife for business trip - she won't give it back.

IN BOX: Came in Samsung "white box" with formed retainer securing all the items. Then double-boxed with bubble wrap between. Other than "refurb" label cannot tell from new.
Includes 120/240 AC charger with interchangable prongs, Samsung cable doubles to charge and USB connect to computer for file exchange, extra stylus tips and tool, Quick-start guide for button location and some Samsung supplied apps.

PROS: Perfect condition - cannot tell from new unit, very solidly built
- Quad-core ARM fast
- 2.4 and 5 Gz N-wireless are both fast and have better range than our 5 Gz N on laptop.
- Screen excellent for normal usage and 720p video.
- Speakers better than avg, but use HQ headphones for video/music.
- USB connection to computer is plug&play on Win7 - then both internal storage and SD card are treated like a flash drive.
- Back camera good / front webcam ok.
- Battery life is fantastic -5 hrs of 720p movies left 58% - I just leave it on all the time in stand-by with wifi on and GPS off - lasts for days - then can charge without turn-off.
- Came with JellyBean 4.1.2 and Samsung announced Note 10.1 will get KeyLimePie 5.0 later this year.
- Polaris Office suite handled every MS file format I threw at it and most PDFs.
- Voice command VERY good - seldom makes a mistake

CONS: Only nit-picks:
- Auto Screen Brightness is dim and not adjustable, but very quick to switch to manual and then will go quite bright (with higher battery drain).
- Reflections and glare can be a problem. Would trade some sharpness and brightness for matte screen.
- No timer on standard camera app (added CamTimer 1.1.2)

OTHER: Will buy 16GB model next time. OS and apps take 2GB internal memory of 26GB usable internal. Files, video and music go on my 32GB sdhc card (64GB possible) Unless you load hundreds of apps, 16 GB model will be fine.
- Seldom use sNote or stylus, but would still buy Note 10.1 to get the Quad-core processor.
- Samsung should have included the $3 OTG dongle to attach a flash drive or self-powered hdd.Read full review...

Leave the laptop home and take your Galaxy Note instead.

I decided to buy the Samsung Note primarily becuse I have the Samsung Galaxy S-III phone and figured the note would compliment the S-III. In addition to it's brilliance one of the first things I noticed was it's speed. It is lightning quick. This thing is almost like carrying my desktop around with me. Over the Christmas Holidays I had the chance to use an Apple notbook. The Apple is nice, but I wouldn't trade. I would like to see MS-Word in a Notebook. Sales would go out the roof. I'm not giving technical details about this Notebook, you can find those on the Internet. I refcommend the Galaxy Note over the Apple. Enough said.Read full review...

Good price for a reaonably usedul tablet

I bought his thinking it was a newer model than the one I have, it is not, bit that is my fault. I have benn having issues with youtube and some other apps saying they need to update, but when I check the app store they are up to date, youtube will not work unless I wipe the cache for the app, but that it a small issue, tablet works fine otherwise. Galaxy Note 3.0 - Great Tablet with a pen - Work perfect!

I bought this tablet to use mainly at home moving from room to room and connecting it to my main computer by Wifi and to the TV with HDMI connector that I bought too.
I also use it out of my home connecting it to my Android phone to get Internet or to other Wifi stations.
The product is very fast and have allot of memory and you can Expand it to 64GB.
The pen is very nice tool and you can write and draw with it and share it on the web or by mail with your friends.
You also have a split screen that you can put 2 application together.
I think this is a great product and I wish that the price where lower, but it sure is a great Tablet and I love it.
This tablet can do whatever you need, fast and good.

Galaxy Note 10.1 Rocks!!!!

I love my Galaxy Note 10.1. It's so fast thanks to the Android Ice Cream 4.0. The only complain is that it's many app that haven't develop yet for both tabblets and cell phones based upon Android O.S. In other hand, there is a some youtube videos which has banned for tabblet with no reason.

This is a great 10" Samsung tablet. The stylus is handy. The one I got was a little squirly at first but I reset it to the factory defaults and after that everything was OK.
