Great as a back-up

The machine is a bit noisy, but it's a compressor and so I suppose that noise is to be expected; I could still hear the TV over it so it's not like it was a problem.

The tube keep popping off of where it connects to the machine. I tried the tube that came with the machine, I tried one that I had already been using as well as a brand new tube and they all were all popping off. I noticed that the tube connection-area was warm when it fell off, perhaps the machine's operation was warming up the plastic tubes and causing it to expand thereby resulting in a loose connection. I finally found a tube that could stay on, so it worked out in the end.

The machine creates a low output mist. I was hoping for a system that had more oomph to it but it gets the job done..slowly.

I bought this to use with colloidal silver. I put about an ounce of filtered water and 3 full droppers of Guardian of Eden colloidal silver into the cup. I had a bad cold that turned into acute bronchitis. This treatment helped me recover quickly. This nebulizer seems to be well built. I don't use it all the time so I hope it will last for a good while. It's a little noisy but no big deal. Works much better than my last 3 nebulizers! I'm on my 3rd Pacifica Elite Nebulizer that my insurance paid for within 4 years. My second one was slowly dying, but not bad enough for warranty replacement. So when I saw that this Nebulizer - the same brand that my father had which lasted him years - was affordable, I purchased it as a backup. I immediately creates a fine mist, whereas the others had to warm up. It runs smoother and quieter so, for example, I can keep a glass of water on my bedside table without it dancing off.
