Ryobi Hammer

Excellent Product, but it seems batteries are limited, further more it struggles with 6inch nails....for auto hammer id expect a bot more power for dealing with bigger nails. That said smaller nails are no problems.

On the whole a good product, its a shame cant be bought brand new, as production of these appear to have stopped.

personally i dont think it should cost anymore than £50.00

Versatile tool when you can't get a hammer in the space

I don't believe any of the Ryobi 12V tools are produced anymore but I was lucky enough to get several of them when they were first available around 15 years ago. This auto hammer was fairly unique at the time and worked like a pneumatic palm nailer. I really like using this tool when I am running Romex and have to get staples in tight places without smashing my fingers. I hold the staple with my needle nose Vise-Grip tool on one leg of the staple and then can get the auto hammer in to get each leg started, remove the Vise Grip and then finish with the auto hammer to the desired depth. No damage to the wire jacket and no busted fingers. Just a perfect tool when you need a hammer in a tight space.Read full review...

Auto hammers

The craftsman is easier to work with. The ryobi stalls out during use
