I'VE BEEN A RUSH FAN SINCE 1975. BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS TO GET A HIGH QUALITY LIVE CONCERT. AFTER MANY MINUTES OF RESEARCH, IT WAS DOWN TO 2. LIVE IN RIO, AND R-30. I'M ON A BUDGET, SO I FOUND BOTH USED, (LIKE NEW) FOR UNDER $10. BEST VALUE EVER. BOTH HAVE 2 DISC'S, 1 LIVE CONCERT, 2 INTERVIEWS AND EXTRA'S. LIVE IN RIO IS THE BEST CONCERT, BUT R30'S 2ND DISC IS MUCH BETTER. BEST TO DO WHAT I DID, BUY BOTH, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID. RIO WAS THE BEST RUSH CONCERT EVER!! THE RIO FAN'S ARE CRAZY. THEY SING ALONG ON THE INSTRUMENTALS. THIS WAS THE LAST CONCERT ON A LONG TOUR, AND THEY LET IT ALL OUT. THEY KNEW IT WAS GOING TO DVD, AND ALL 3 GAVE 100%. This was a live album concert made in Maracaná Stadium in Brazil, one of the most famous stadiums in Brazil and South America in general. One of the most sought out albums for their phenomenal mix of sounds and an incredible drum solo by Neil Peart, that was even nominated for a grammy award. I have been waiting to get this particular concert video for sometime! It’s a mile marker for RUSH! This tour was the reuniting from Neil taking his 55,000 mile road trip. Great performance from a HOF band! While there were clearly some production challenges (the band has discussed this), there is no substitute for the energy of the crowd and RUSH's performance. The Definitive Wish

Being the definitive Rush fan, one could only wish to to go to a front row seat event and see them. With this dvd you're there, front row center to see the in one of the worlds most beautiful country's. Who wouldn't want to go Rio, anyway the technical aspute of the dvd is outstanding. The sound quality is great and the camera shots are great. It's true they could have done a little less editing but I still give it five stars along with a hardy two thumbs up!Read full review...
