While there are many variations of the Submariner, the Oyster Perpetual , commonly referred to as the " No Date " is by far the most iconic, symmetrically balanced, cleanest dialed Submariner. Remember that the original Submariner was introduced in 1953 and was not produced with a date until 1967. The added improvements that have occurred as this model has evolved over the years have made it an outstanding time piece. The new larger " Super Case " with thicker lugs, the " Maxi Dial " with larger indices, thicker minute and hour hands made the watch much more legible. The blue Super Luminova is longlisting and beautiful. Add the vastly improved Glidelock clasp and the blue Parachrome spring and you have the perfect watch. The best part is that this watch holds it's value very well. It's not uncommon for someone to own a Submariner for year and often sell them for the same , if not more that what they originally paid for them originally.
