Better than amazon firestick.

Bought a Roku to stream Peacock TV since, at the time, amazon wasn't offering an app for Peacock on their firesticks. I couldn't be more pleased with the Roku system. You can stream more channels than the firesticks and you don't need to go to amazon to acquire them. It litteraly makes your old TV "smart" as long as it has an HDMI port. No more buffering...

I had the first gen roku and it buffered in my bedroom a lot. It became obsolete so I bought a DVD player with apps and it buffered now and then, but it only supported 3 apps. The specs for the SE HD sounded good and it hasn't buffered yet. Still as easy to set up, still easy to use. Not much has changed except it picks up wifi better, it's smaller and lighter(I use the double sided tape to stick it to the bottom of the tv), and cost about half of the original roku's price new.Read full review...

I now see Roku as one of the ultimate technology brands. This roku box can even be personalized to your taste. Looks great on my TV. Buy this, I promise you'll be thankful you did and not regretful!

Easy to set up & use. It's a Roku. Looks like a Roku, act's like a Roku, quacks like a Roku. Except it's purple, so it's kinda ugly.
