Great for Metal to Rap

The 10" hits very hard and has a quick recovery. No matter what type of music you're listening to, it will meet or exceed your expectations. It takes a lot of power because of the Dual Voice Coils, but it will never let you down. I have two with a 2400 watt Rockford amp pushing them, and I couldn't be happier. You can't go wrong with Rockford Fosgate, it's a great brand. There's really nothing wrong with these speakers. This is a great speaker and worth its asking price.

I built a custom sealed enclosure for my '07 Corvette, with three 10" speakers. This speaker is in the center with two Rockford Fosgate 10" PPS4-10 4ohm mid-bass drivers. The bass is tight and punchy and can be felt through the seat back when it's turned up loud. Which it is, a lot.
