bourne
great game to play

The Bourne Conspiracy Ps3 game.
I purchased this game as I greatly appreciate and enjoy the bourne films so I assumed that this game would be a great purchase for me...I was not dissapointed.
This game has brilliant effects and graphics and takes you through some of the scenes in the movie along with added scenes; for instance, in the bourne identity, the first scene you see as the viewer is bourne floating facedown in the sea dressed in black waterproof gear. This is shown at the start of the game but instead of starting off as bourne being rescued by fisherman; the game starts with a bourne before the bourne identity.
In other words; you play as bourne when he knows he is an assasin and before he forgets everything.
Gradually the game will go into the film like when bourne is in the bank in the film with the red bag - the game lets you play out the scene and challenges the player to get out of the bank without being caught then the player takes part in the epic car race with marie.
Sounds good,right? It is; don't hestitate any further and grab yourself a copy.Read full review...

The Bourne Conspiracy PS3 Review
The Bourne Conspiracy follows Bourne's quest to learn who he is and why heavily armed men are after him, and it's structured around the key action sequences from The Bourne Identity. Interspersed throughout these familiar missions are playable flashbacks that hark back to the time before Bourne's amnesia when he had no qualms about leaving trails of bodies and bullets en route to his objectives.
The game starts with Bourne floating in the turbulent Mediterranean Sea shortly after his attempted mission to assassinate Wombosi, an African dictator. However, Conspiracy doesn't simply retell the movie, throwing in action sequences and button mechanics randomly. Instead, what it does is attempt to tell the backstory of Bourne prior to the assassination and continue through the end of the movie. It does this with a series of unique flashbacks, typically triggered by a passport or other items, which bring players back to prior events in Bourne's career when he was still paying attention to Conklin, his mission handler. By doing so, you get a sense of how effective Bourne was at his job -- as well as how dangerous he was when he started "malfunctioning."
As you can expect from Jason Bourne the gameplay focus is speed, power and improvisational power. The fightscenes in this game are excellent, using either the square or triangle buttons to attack works nicely and isn't hard to get used to, while using your adreneline will show an improvised attack from Boure.
Along with the fightscenes is gunplay, although it doesn't stand out from the crowd it isn't a bad element to the game. Maybe they could improve a little but not bad for the first game.
The driving missions aren't all that great and the mechanics are a little hit and miss but again, very playable and not as off putting as you might think.
The good points about the game are;
Simple, yet immensely satisfying fisticuffs
Brutal takedowns
Tense music and great sound effects
Captures the excitement of the films
Now for the bad;
Mediocre gunplay hamstrings replay value
Collecting passports to unlock boss fights (this is just tedious)
If you've ever wanted a taste of what it's like to be a lethal weapon, The Bourne Conspiracy will give you a quick taste of that – at least where hand to hand combat is concerned. The power, brutality and creativity that Jason Bourne uses in the films are excellently handled with the hand to hand system. Unfortunately, the shooting and driving mechanics leave much to be desired. The same can be said for the mandatory install, which doesn’t seem to truly affect the gameplay for the better. However, as a potential jumping off point for a Bourne franchise, this is a good start for High Moon and Sierra.Read full review...
