I wanted to get this book to see how the people survived the really hard times. How they opened there hearts not there wallets to be happy. Books like this are a great example how we can live to day, but in a better situation. I have other Remenisce books and love them. I would highly recommend you read one and see for yourself. This book "When banks closed, we opened our hearts" is an exellent book. As are any of the other remain publications. It give history in an easy to read form with lots of interesting pictures. It is great for older children or adults.Read full review...
