A lighter-duty crate

I bought this crate because we adopted a new cat, and if we ever have to evacuate we will need a crate for each cat. Our old crate is heavy duty and has withstood two large, rambunctious dogs. This is a lighter-duty crate, perfectly adequate for our needs and plenty roomy for a medium-sized dog. I would hesitate to put a large dog (as shown in the photo) in this model. Nevertheless, it is a good design. The instructions were simple and clear, and it was easy to unfold. I like having a door on both one end and one side, and it folds flatter for storage than our old crate. The plastic tray slides in and out easily. If we have to keep a pet in it, I think I would use twist-ties to secure the sides to the ends at a few points, as safeguard against its accidental collapse in case it takes too hard a jolt from within or without. Once together not too bad the design needs work needed to zip tie side to front so the latch works properly. Otherwise the metal bows in and latches don't work well. Product is as advertised and shopping was quick. All in all not bad value for the price.Read full review...

Room for growth!

This crate is very nicely sized for my dog. He is a puppy now but will be a medium sized dog at adult age. This crated will be plenty roomy at that time. Great value for the price!

Flimsy kennel not as decribed

The description of this kennel says it could hold 40lbs in it and be carried. The kennel can barely support itself when it is lifted. The metal is very flimsy and within 12 hours our 4 month old puppy, who is pretty chill, already bent one of the metal peices. I do not recommend at all.Read full review...
