HC-SR501 PIR SENSOR

I bought this PIR Sensor and works great better than the advertisement states. The range was greater than the specs and the sensitivity was also. I had to tone it down somewhat to cover the 10 foot area that I needed to cover. My project required it to include an arduino Nanos to control other sensors depending on the output of the PIR.Read full review

by TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

Their okay, if you don't mind constantly adjustmenting two screws.

These sensors are okay. But I would highly recommend the Ultrasonic sensors(no need for adjustments, just change the distance in "cm" when writing your code.). With the PIR sensors( you have to constantly adjust two screws, one for distances and the other for time).Read full review

Good size, easy to mount.

Easy to use with Arduino digital I/O. Has adjustable sensitivity and delay which is handy. Good product.

Should be better. Poor quality and missing an important jumper.

Works, but the quality is lacking. One of the potentiometers is crooked. Also, mine did NOT have a jumper to change from single trigger to repeatable trigger.
