Bought these for a home studio project and placed some Presonus E66’s atop. They are very sturdy and well made. They have holes on the telescopic arm that holds the speaker and a key is included so they do not slide back down. In other words, the speaker is held up by a positive lock, instead of relying on you cranking down a knob to create friction on the arm to hold up the speaker. Pyle smaller sturdy speaker stands
I needed a sturdy stand to hold my Fishman acoustic guitar amplifier up off the floor so the sound carried more like a PA system. Regular speaker stands are too high as I sit close to the amp so I can adjust it for different songs. These stands are the perfect height for what I want and they are as sturdy as regular stands.
