Great for when access to a laptop is limited!

The very large screen that the netBook has makes it seem like a laptop. And the slightly-smaller-than-laptop sized keyboard makes it a breeze to input data. Tons of applications are available that let you do what you want. It has the ability to multitask, which makes it more like a laptop. But the extremely long battery life and instant-on startup make it more like a PDA.
With no hard-drive to break, I feel like I can take the netBook wherever I want. The touchscreen means I can draw like a tablet PC. It's just crazy to see how much interest people have when they see it instantly turn on.

Linux has been ported to the netBook. I've never done it, it's too complicated for what I want to do with it. But from what I've read, it gives you the exact same capabilities a laptop has, but in a lot smaller and better package.

It's good for my purposes
