Good Construction and Performance
Construction is solid, parts fit as needed. Tuned up as it should. While it is stated that it is rated at 500W PEP, feeding it 200W continuous watts for 15 seconds did show an increasing VSWR. Transmitting was immediately terminated so the antenna would not be damaged.
Radiating wise, very good. I run it as an elevated ground plane with 80w at a height of 7' with 4 elevated/tuned radials. It's performance on FT8 digital mode has been excellent. Europe and Pacific worked easily.Read full review...
