If you somehow have an expensive call center headset and now want to use it to make Skype (R) calls from la computadora, go ahead, buy this adapter instead of, using the free earbuds you have and the built in microphone? Well, slight reduction in ambient noise and in the laptop mic picking up the sound of the fan.
