"Planet Earth" is amazing, but be wary that this version may not play.

Okay, I love "Planet Earth", so this isn't really a review of the series but the product itself. I have wanted to order the series on Blu-ray for a very long time (I have it on DVD). So, seeing there was a special edition, I thought it was a good opportunity to buy it. The problem is that the video is in 1080i/50. So, despite it being "region-free", it still will not play on certain US-Spec players. It did not play on my PS3, nor a friend's PS3 or Blu-ray player.Read full review...
