Excellent Writer!
Beautiful fountain pen. Smooth writer with just a little feedback. Great ink flow, not too wet. Large ink capacity with vac fill. Quality, fit and finish are all excellent. Bought the medium nib. This is a true M in my opinion. Have used with Pilot Iroshizuku and Monteverde inks…both were excellent. Perfect size and performance for longer writing sessions. Great pen for not a lot of money. A gold nib would be nice, but would cost more money!
Writes well and holds lots of ink. I prefer my Sailor Professional Gear with the gold Naginata Togi nib, but it cost a lot more money and it is necessary to fill it more often. I got the Pilot pen after a friend gave me a cheap $29 pen which I was just using around the house. It wrote fairly well but the cartridges were a bust. The Pilot 823 is now my go to pen for all writing purposes at home. I use the Sailor for writing Devanagri script and special things.Read full review...

It writes beautifully ( mine medium) in my opinion. I feels it is really well made and has for me just the right amount of weight. The filling systems works like a dream. For me it does everything a pen should do. What more do you expect from a quality fountain pen. Im totally happy.
