The product arrived with no instructions, had to search the internet to find out that the phone needs to be connected to power for the cable to work with TV.

You will need an extention cord and USB wall adapter to plug the USB connector into.

The USB cord is not long enough, your tv must be next to the electrical outlet.

Bad product

First thing. The usb connection to power your phone is super short, you pretty much have to bring the power cord all the way up to the tv. Then the mini HDMI connection doesn't go in properly into the phone or my tablet. Then once I eventually made it go in, nothing would appear in the screen.Read full review...

It works like it's supposed to

There was a bit of snow when it was first connected but it then cleared up. Too bad the latest Samsung Galaxies don't support MHL. If your phone can play the video smoothly, watching a full HD movie from a smartphone on a large screen TV is quite a treat. You do need a free USB port to keep it powered and unfortunately the one from the TV isn't really robust enough to keep the phone fully charged while playing.Read full review...

For the money....

I find the cables get hot very fast, so I haven't wanted to use it for very long, at any time.
Maybe it is too thin a wire for what it has to do? I don't know, I'm not an electrician; I just know a hot cable is not good.

Does not work with any of my devices. I thought it worked with any android device. I guess it's my fault. MHL seems to be a format no one is using any more.
