Some years ago the pet food manufacturers gave away these type can covers free- Recently I thought about them and how handy they were. I went on the internet and found them- for sale but at a decent prce- Noew I have them again and save using saran wrap every day to cover the can!!!!!Read full review...

I was hoping to purchase soft rubber silicone type material that doesn't hurt my hand when I press it down on a can. These are made out of a plastic that is somewhat hard somewhat soft but when you press it down on the king and you have arthritis as I do it hurts. These lids have holes for hanging on a nail or hook, which we like. They aren’t really silicone. Not that flexible. But not super stiff either. If it’s possible to blend silicone and plastic, that’s probably what they are. They arrived extremely fast! Not really convinced they are BPA free since they’re made in China like 90% of stuff, but they don’t really adhere to any standards there. These caps fit nice and snug on the Friskies and Blue brand cat food cans we use; which are 3 3/8" cans. It's much easier then trying to put plastic wrap over the can and seals better.

Very easy to use for both regular and wide mouth cans.
Hard to find good pet food covers, but finally I found what I've been looking for. I have an old one I got from Pet People, unfortunately they went out of business, and it works great, very pliable and soft material. I have tried others over the years, but are very hard and not that easy to use. When I saw these are made of silicone, I said why not and am I ever glad I did. They go on easily and come off just as easy.
