Key is dust free work station.

First few were perfect then white lined began to show up. Cleaned scanner head and everything good for a few and then white lines again. Then I realized dust on photo sticks to scanner and builds up. Same problem on all this type of scanner. Must scan in ultra clean environment. Since we have an XP computer worth the price.Read full review...

Best item ever!!!

I would really recommend this item!!! It was so easy to set up and I’ve been scanning my pictures and editing them on my computer very fast! Quick scanner, but quality is not good enough if you have a lot of photos.

Overall scanner is very user friendly and scans/stores photos quickly. Quality is poor. My reason for saying that is the first 100 photos scanned in great, although lighter than original photo, after that lines appeared on the scanned in photos.
User manual has a 3 step cleaning process which I did and make the first handful of photos great again, but white lines throughout the photos kept reappearing. That became very time consuming and I would have to do the cleaning process every 20 photos. With how many photos I had, it ended up being such a headache that I just wanted to be done. I ended up with over 3/4 of the photos with white lines. I will now be investing 100 for a higher quality scanner which I should have done to begin with.

If you have a 100 photos or less this is a nice quick cheap unit. If you are like me and were photo crazy either vacationing or had kids before digital cameras were everything do yourself a favor and invest $100-$150 in a better scanner. Great scanner for pictures and photos.

This little scanner is great for scanning pictures and photos that are small. It can scan items that are not much bigger than 5x7. Very handy for copying into a computer. I got it to scan family photos into my laptop. There is no software to load. It is self contained. A PDF User Guide loads automatically as well. Have had to clean it once. The best product I have bought in 5 years!! A MUST to own!!

This is one of the best digital items I have ever purchased. I am a gadget junkie and a lot of them are just toys but this is serious business. You can scan pictures, business cards etc., in seconds. It is small (put it in your purse size) therefore you can take it to reunions, parties and the like and scam photos that you would love to have copies of!! I have had mine for only a few days and I have scanned over 800 in my spare (does anyone have any?) time!! I can say it enough. Hold onto your memories, scan your pictures and they will be with you for a lifetime!!

Quick and easy to use and get that box of pictures stored and shared.

This is an awesome gadget. Just put your picture in and it automatically feeds through and stores it on your SD card. You can either put it on the computer or send the card to someone with years of pictures on it. I can easily sit on the couch with a box of pictures to scan and watch TV at the same time instead of it being a big production to do it. :-)Read full review...

I bought this scanner to preserve and copy the oldest family pics from the 1920's and I could not have made a better decision! I have gone to Wal-Mart in the past to do this so when I sat in ONE night and copied dozens of pictures from the comfort of my own couch I was overjoyed! I wondered how to scan the little round locket type pics and because this came with two picture covers/feeders it was NO problem!
