I think the Panasonic is okay so far

I bought a new Panasonic PV – V4525S and so far I like it there are a few things I had to figure out which was a little more complicated than what it should have been. I haven't had the VHS 4 Head VCR really long enough to give any better information on it. So far it's a good VCR?Read full review...

Turns on and off throughout the entire video

Because I’m in isolation, I haven’t had the gumption or ability to try and return it. The VCR goes black or turns on and off throughout the entire movie; and it’s not just one movie, it’s every movie I own. I bought a Square trade warranty, so I’ve got to figure out how to get the vcr replaced or fixed.Read full review...

Sad Digital is replacing VCR

Digital media has limits on the amount of programing they can hold. VCR,s are only limited to the number of VHS tapes you are willing to purchase. I am still watching the old Rockford Files. MOST of today's programing is not worth watching. "tribes" of people on an island and other reality programing does not hold the interest of viewers. Second RATE programs with no real actors. I see enough reality in my day to day live and on the news. Prime example, it was reported ABC canceled Castle in favor of less costly programing. The interaction between Kate and Richard can not be duplicated. Read full review...

Outstanding Purchase

I bought this VCR to connect to my VCR/DVD player which stopped playing VCR tapes while the DVD player continues to work perfectly. I connected this Panasonic to the input on the old unit and now I can play my old VCR tapes and the quality is excellent. The remote control is a bonus...many used units don't come with one. This was a good purchase.Read full review...

Good compact VCR player

This replaces a 20 year old similar Panasonic model. If the first one lasted 20 years, it's a sign this one will, too. Great if you've collected VCR tapes over the years and don't want to pay to convert them all to DVD.Read full review...

A good, new, basic VCR

This is a new, basic VCR which performs well and has no cosmetic blemishes. Came with remote and the owner’s manual.
