Part fit great but triggered code P0171. Had to revert to genuine PCV.

Bought for 2007 Audi A3 2.0T. Part fit great and worked fine for 1 week. Computer code P0171 started to trigger every time I cleared it. PCV was letting too much air into intake manifold. Had to revert back to original. For Audi, recommend you spend the extra money and get an OEM/genuine part. I've read others with similar issues.

I will note that 2006-2007 A3 had multiple revisions of PCV. This version actually requires a rear valve cover breather tube upgrade also, which I had not performed. It's possible that caused the computer code. I have ordered genuine Audi PCV & breather & will be replacing both. Not going to chance reverting to this aftermarket PCV.Read full review...
