Our Big Huge Adventure is enjoyable.

We recently purchased the Disney DVD, The Little Einsteins: Our Big Huge Adventure. We love the Little Einsteins due the the wonderful and diverse characters of Leo, Quincy, June and Annie. Also the use of classical music and art in the movies is wonderful and something that you do not get in other children's videos.
This particular DVD however is a long movie in which the 4 characters and rocket go on an adventure with a caterpillar. The movie shows the life cycle of a caterpillar, takes the viewer on an trip to New York City (the Statue of Liberty) and beyond, teaches kindness and the lesson of helping others, all while using the most wonderful little songs.
My three year old talks about this movie all the time and we sing one of the songs that the characters use about the caterpillar being a "buggy guy" and then turning into a "beautiful butterfly". Little Einsteins

This movie is excellent! My little one loves it, we've been using it as an attention keeper for about 2 months and it works!! On top of keeping her attention and keeping her entertained it's educational. It's not like some of the other baby shows that are just annoying for the parents, it has wonderful classical music along with it, so it can be relaxing for the parents. I highly recommend this movie and many other Little and Baby Einsteins movies! We only have a few but I hope to get many more, they're wonderful!Read full review...

Excellent

My 3 year old never watched the baby einsteins but got so zoned out on one recently that a baby I was watching brought along, I wish I had been buying them all along. Seeing it as pointless to shell out cash for those now, since she's only 3 and probably won't show an interest in them long, I was very pleased to head about the Little Einsteins! She loves it, and my 7 yr old son also sat still and watched it yesterday! It is adorable, with a story line, unlike the baby ones, but with the same classical music, they throw in alot of big words, and real shots of animals and such. The only thing was that my daughter was terrified of the scene with the bats and spiders chasing them. I asked her if she wanted me to take the DVD back and she said,"NO! just...fast forward it!". LOL. It's a good solid hour long movie that your child will benefit from watching, just be nearby in case you need to skip the bat scene!Read full review...

"Little Einstein" DVD Enhances Music and Art Education

As a Grandmother who purchased many "Baby Einstein" items I was please to see this opportunity for my 3-year old grandson to enjoy the same wonderful educational and production values as he grew older. As a musician, I am thrilled with the educational musical values in this video. The combination of animation and "live action" video enhances the interest for the child. The musical terms are taught in a simple but useful manner. The art education is also very cleverly done. The child's attention is virtually riveted to this video, and he watches it over and over, and thinks it is named "Rocket." Fun and educational for kids and adults

My 3 year old loves anything Little Einsteins. What I love about them is that unlike the majority of movies and programming for children, these don't make me cringe. They aren't smarmy or dumbed down. This movie is longer than the 20 minute programs found on the Disney Channel, but my son will sit still for all of it (a real feat considering how active he is!). The combination of classical music and famous artworks is terrific. My son sings along with the theme song, knows every character by name and already knows more music terminology than I ever did! If you want a quality children's dvd that won't leave you with a permanent eye-twitch from repeated viewings, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed.Read full review...

Great product.

Great product. Keeps my grandchild entertained!!

That's butterfly's song!

We got this DVD the day it came out. At the time my son was 3, he is now almost 5, and he still remembers "butterfly's song". My husband is in the "Commandant's Own" USMC Drum and Bugle Corps so naturally my son hears lots of music. Anytime he hears "butterfly's song" he lets everyone know. Before buying this movie on DVD we never heard of the Little Einsteins. I was shopping for other DVDs and happen to see "Quincy" with a trumpet and "Leo" with a baton so I stopped to look. Reading the back I was interested to see the show and I am very glad I bought it that day. Even if you didn't like Baby Einsteins series you should definitely get Little Einsteins. It is very different from Baby Einsteins and more enjoyable for all ages.Read full review...

My son loves this movie!

My 2-1/2 year old loves Little Einsteins and Ebay is the most convient way I've found them. I might have to order another DVD soon if we continue to watch this one so much! I just hate that Disney isn't putting out more Little Einsteins DVD's. We are now starting to collect everything Little Einstein, from stickers, tatoos, shirts, iron on's (great for ironing on training pants) and hopefully we'll get the rocket back pack by Christmas. Little Einsteins are great for the younger kids and teaches them a lot! I'd encourage everyone to introduce their toddlers to Disney's Little Einsteins!!Read full review...
