A joy to use

After reading Robin Wong's rave reviews on this lens, I purchased it even before I had a camera body to put it on. When my Olympus E-M5 Mark II arrived, I had only this 60mm Macro and first used it as a short telephoto lens that produced stunning images and then began playing with the closeup features. Wow! This lens deals with quite an amazing range, from infinity, down to a shockingly sharp 1:1. This lightweight and compact lens is, without a doubt, my favorite lens of any system I've used over the past 40 years. It only leaves one thing to be desired - a better lens hood that doesn't fall off along the trail and make me put in extra miles to find it. Otherwise, this lens is perfection.Read full review...

Great macro lens!

Some people may complain that this lens hunts too much at f2.8 but that is to be expected. I love this lens and once you realize that at f2.8 your in focus area is about 1/16'' deep, you will understand why it spends so much time hunting. I use this with my E-M10 and it works great! I've used it for both portraiture as well as macro work.Read full review...
