Satisfied with the purchase

This is being used on a Pen F with a MMF-2 adapter. Optically, it's very good. Autofocus is slower than the real micro 4/3s lenses, price was right and I usually manually focus anyway. The Pen F has some focus aids which really help and it's hardly slower than waiting for the autofocus to settle. All of the 4/3s adapted lenses have this problem with the micro 4/3s cameras I have, not unexpected. This particular item wasn't used heavily, wasn't in new condition but very good cosmetically, no scratches or dents but a little dinge on the operating rings that cleaned off. Bad purchase! My fault. Thought all Olympus 4/3 mounts were the same. Not so. Does not fit my Pen E-PL6!

May be a perfectly good lens, but I’ll never know. The lens even has the micro 4/3 logo on it but in actuality is much larger and heavier than my current Oly micro 4/3 40-150mm. Not a good value to me, but could have been an excellent value had it fit my camera bodies. My bad.Read full review...

This is an awesome little lens for the price

Pros:
-Beautiful, tiny, and light
-300mm equivalent on Micro Four Thirds bodies
-Pretty sharp throughout the zoom range; even sharper if you tinker with sharpening in the raw files
-Focus is very quick
-It can do beautiful macros, as it is close-focusing

Cons:
-You have to buy the hood separately
-It has a relatively dim aperture at 150mm, requiring high ISO or slow shutter in dim lightRead full review...

good sharp bright lens. bit slow af when using on MFT camera

Great lens... very sharp and bright given the focal length range it covers. I use it with an adapter on micro four thirds and the autofocus is slow.... but i've been able to squeeze some very nice pics out of it that would be gard to take with a dimmer lens... anyway any af would be faster than my manual af .. which btw in this lens is nice even when it is electronic instead of manual. I also got the 14-54... so i have uninterrupted 14-150mm range with max apperture of f2.5 to f4.5...imposible with native mft lensesRead full review...

This is the perfect long zoom for the occasional user. It is light and inexpensive, but produces very serviceable results. It is not fast, but is fine for nature photography. You do not need a massive tripod. I use it with an OMD E-1 with an adapter for micro 4/3.Read full review...

Great Lens at a Great Price

I bought this lens in a used state (80-89% of original condition) and have been super happy with it. I hadn’t used my Olympus Evolt 510 DSLR in 5+ years, but decided to get some practice prior to a trip at a Big Bend at the end of May. I quickly realized the stock 15-42mm lens was going to limit me quite a bit, so I added this lens for more zoom power. It’s been great and I’m happy with the additional range it provides me. A good old lens.

The original 40- 150mm F3.5- 4.5 was a sweet spot of size and weight versus tele coverage and speed. It is capable of taking very sharp photos within the auto focus capacities of the Oly Evolt and E series lines. It is a favorite carry around lens of mine.Read full review...

Awesome lens if you can get it for cheap!

One thing that caught me off guard is that this Olympus lens is made for an older "four thirds" camera and I had to buy an adapter ($35) in order to use it with my Lumix G85.

Four Thirds is a different mount from Micro Four Thirds. -.-

But other that having to get an adapter and changing some settings in order to make lens work ... Everything is Gucci Mane. Really happy with the range and the quality for the price.

Great zoom lens for short $$$

Lots of lens for little money. Images are crisp, nice depth of field, auto-focus works well enough. No aperture control ring, but again, for the price, it's a nice telephoto lens you won't regret.

Excellent Value

Yes, I would love to have the 2.8 lens from Olympus. But for the money, this is a great addition to my EP-5. Light, fairly solid build and images are quite good.
