Great Micro 4/3 Camera

This is my 2nd OM-D EM10 having owned the MarkI. I love the size of the camera which is smaller than a DSLR with comparable picture quality & generally less expensive lens options. The Olympus has simplified the MarkII menu settings for which there are setup recommendations found on the internet which I recommend to get started. Like my MarkI, I bought the optional grip which you may prefer if you have larger hands. The main difference between the MarkI & MarkII is the improved auto focus, 4K timelapse, better EVF & dial layout. Best value if you want to get into a smaller camera with interchangeable lens.Read full review...

This camera is a worthy upgrade!

Built-in 5-Axis image stabilization for tack sharp imagaes, 2.3 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder, silent mode (disables all shutter sounds) and 8.5 frames per second shooting and fast touch auto focus - this camera has it all and is worth every penny.

As for the built quality of the camera. it's certainly has a premium feel and is very solid. The battery door is the only "lower quality" feel - and it is very flimsy. It feels like it's going to break every time I open it to charge the battery or pull my SD card. The grip is good as on any other camera - and has the option to add more if need be.

The other main gripe with this camera is the menus - it takes a firm understanding of camera systems, and is much, much, more complicated than a Canon menu.

I live to shoot pictures and find a big setup to bee too much sometimes. This small, ultra portable, image stabilized camera is a great buy.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II refurbished

I've had this camera for a few weeks now. So far I'm really enjoying this camera. It takes great pictures. And is solidly built. I purchased this as a refurb. and it looks brand new. Not a mark on it. And only had 15 shutter actuations on it. The Mark II is a good step up from the E-M10. The ability to shoot silent, going from mechanical shutter to electronic is a plus when you don't want to spook your subject. And the EVF is excellent. Sharp and bright. In full auto the mechanical shutter stays on. I'm finding myself using this camera more then my DSLR. It is much smaller, lighter, and doesn't get the attention the big DSLR's draw.Read full review...

Easy in the Auto mode but very advanced otherwise.

It is easy to use in the Auto or Program mode but may be somewhat challenging if you want to do anything more sophisticated and are not familiar with advanced digital photography. It has worked very well for my astrophotography applications due to its small size, light weight and advanced features.Read full review...

An excellent purchase-- light weight with great features!

Olympus cameras have been a long time favorite of mine and this one is no exception with excellent JPEG out and a wide variety of high quality lenses available. Also small light and easy to pack.

Compact Camera with Amazing Features

If you are looking for a full feature camera, that takes amazing photos and videos, then the OM-D E M-10 Mark II is an excellent choice. It is half the size of a Nikon or Canon, but way easier to take on a trip.Read full review...

Outstanding image quality in a small package

I'm an experienced amateur photographer, and have used a lot of digital cameras in the past 10 years. The E-M10 Mk II is one of the best. It can be used as a lightweight go anywhere camera with a lens like the Olympus 17mm f1.8. If one is interested in insects and birds, the E-M10 II and the Olympus 75-300mm II make for an excellent high image quality telephoto package that is reasonably light and compact.

The Olympus menu system may be daunting if one is a newcomer to photography, but once your menu preferences are set, the Super Control Panel can be used to quickly access common functions without the need to go back into the menus. I recommend the E-M10 Mk II for anyone from beginners to experienced amateurs. It is that good.

Quality camera

Purchased because it will accept older 4/3 lenses and newer m4/3 lens. Unique double sensor system is a real plus with both style lenses. Customization of this camera is a little daunting due to so many selections but can be configured to do almost anything you can think of and some you don't think of. Good build and good looks make this camera a keeper for a long time. Mine was used but is in pristine condition.Read full review...

A powerful camera in the right hands

I loved everything about the original OMD EM5 (which I have, but is suffering from the common Olympus Micro Four Thirds faulty shutter mechanism). The EM10 is all that plus an electronic shutter, which I need. Now I can shoot all day without wearing out the Mechanical Shutter.Read full review...

Need to use it more to be sure, but looks fine.

This is my third micro-four-thirds camera body and I haven't used it much, but I am pleased to have 16MP vs 12MP. The camera looks good and appears to function well. I'd probably give it a 5-star rating if I had more experience with it so far, but I haven't yet.Read full review...
