Great backup key

Transponder key with "G" stamp is exactly what I needed. Programmed it in a few minutes following instructions for my vehicle that I viewed on the internet. Fob was easy to program as well. Key has rubber head similar to the original that I have. Makes for a great backup key! I was able to get my key cut for close to nothing at my local hardware store. Big Box Store may refuse to do that for you, so have a backup, try your locals for help.Read full review...

2007 Tundra can't be programmed yourself

Then only reason this didn't get 5 stars was because of the false information I was given with the fob that said 2007-2009 programing instructions. After trying the instructions several times and extensive research when it didn't work, it appears that only a dealer can program the key fob with a diagnostic tool to put the vehicle into programming mode. The directions I was given were similar to what would work in lower Tundra models.Read full review...

Fob has to be dealer programmed but is OEM.

I've set this aside to take the next time the truck goes in for service and hope the dealer with be kind and program it for me. Older Toyotas had a procedure where the owner could program the fobs. My Tundra won't do that. Read full review...
