I've been taking 5 HTP for 10 or 12 years. I've talked to everyone that I know who has mood issues about it and they all take it because it really does help. I couldn't live without it and Herobrine offers the best value as I've ever seen. I've took many different name brands and I can't really tell the difference between them. great for sleep & well being
I use this to help me fall asleep. In college I used Nytol and became addicted to it. Maybe addicted is too strong a word. Reliant I guess you'd say. I got to the point I couldn't sleep without it. Then my body required more and more. Never touched the stuff again. When I learned of 5-HTP it was a game changer. I drift off to sleep very softly. It doesn't knock me out. And I have no problem waking up in the morning. It is very relaxing I just love it. It works for me, so I keep using it. I use this with theanine and GABA to get a decent sleep. It really helps me. I take these three supplements (5-HTP, L-Theanine. and GABA) before bed and am able to get a decent amount of sleep. From what I have read, taking 100mg 5-HTP form of Tryptophan in a responsible manor is safer than relying on Melatonin as a sleep aid. This form of Tryptophan works better for me than 500mg of L-Tryptophan in the free form.
This is very effective. Costs for this form of Tryptophan have come down.
