Who doesn't love this movie?

I got the VHS for my birthday when I was a youngster, I remember really loving it. My best friend & I used to watch it together and we'd discuss which girls from the film we liked best, or who we'd want to be. Those were the olden days and this movie brings back soo many great memories, sometimes enough to want to cry! I had to update my DVD collection and include this wonderful film. I still love it, love the cast, love the storyline and everything about it. The girls' summers really reminded me of my own, so many adventures. I love Thora Birch & Christina Ricci, I also thought Gaby Hoffman would have become a lot more known, she was great. I loved the idea of Devon Sawa in it (cute kid from Casper) and Rosie O'Donnell as well as Demi Moore were just awesome. It's a shame that Ashleigh Aston Moore (who played Chrissy) passed away in real life in 2007! SHE did a fantastic job. Now and Then DVD

This movie is a great movie!! It brought back a lot of memories of my preteen years!! It reminded me of the days when we could ride our bikes all around, in and out of the neighborhood without any fear of being harmed....the music played during the movie was awesome!!

Now and Then movie

This is a great movie about four 12-year-old girls who think they brought back someone from the dead and make it their summer goal to find out how he died. I just had to make sure it didn't have any scratches and that the movie worked before I decided if I was gonna keep it or not. I'm not very picky when it comes to this stuff. Read full review...

Review The Flippen Movie Not The Seller!

Now for the review...I love this movie..the Guys have "Stand By Me" we Ladies have "Now And Then" film opens on 4 Women distanced by time and circumstances..one a Author, one a film star, one a Wife and soon to be Mom and one a Doctor..As young girls they spent a wonderful Summer together where they met with adventure, danger, and solved a mystery, also dealt with coming of age..and of course Family crises and shared a deep bond few know..now as grownups they come together once again to be there for the soon to be Mom because of a promise made that Summer that no matter where they were should one of them be in need the others would return..I loved the reminicing..watching young Gurls learn about love, dealing with growing up and growing out so to speak! This is a must see film for any Mother and Daughter to enjoy together..it tugs at the heart strings and will also make you see your Daughter/Mother in a new light! I highly recommend this for any and all looking to reflect on their own childhood or just hoping for a little help with their own childhood now! Don't miss this one!!Read full review...

DVD works fine, the case however was pretty old and beat up. I thought I was getting something in a fairly new condition considering the description and it was not like that. It's a cardboard case not plastic with stains on it. I guess atleast my dvd works.Read full review...
