Great Mercury Recordings from Louis Jordan

Many of these are re-recordings of earlier tracks he cut, but all are nice arrangements. Highly entertaining as most Jordan recordings are. Classics include "Let the Good Times Roll", "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" and "Caldonia" which BB King always favors in his live set. On the humorous side we have "Saturday Night Fish Fry", "Salt Pork, West Virginia" and "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens". Buy this CD too and you will be a full-fledged Jordan fanatic like me!Read full review...

Enjoyable find.

This CD has some great, and fun, songs on it. It was nice a very nice find. The whole family has enjoyed, and laughed, with this CD. A real classic.
