Powerful extremely portable digital camera

I had a Nikon Coolpix P5100 in the past and gave it to my brother in law when a purchase a larger camera. I have missed it since and found and purchased another one recently on E Bay. I love this camera, it’s so small but had complete manual controls in one of the modes for creative photography and better posture taking. It is for someone who desires complete exposure control and desires a physically small camera. Perfect for vacations, bike trips, etc. Tge 12 megapixel processor makes sharp images. I have printed many photos off this camera and am very pkeased with the results. I have a high standard and am obsessed with a sharp image. I highly recommend this camera if you are looking for complete exposure control in a very small portable camera body. Nikon P5100 Coolpix 12.1 Megapixel

This is a great camera for those wanting to take professional photos with the easy "point and shoot" stye. The Images come out clear and crisp with no pixelation to blur photos. The Camera is also highly functional while moving when shooting so you dont need to hold still for 30 seconds to take a great shot.

This has been one of my favorit cameras to work with over the past 2 years. Its quality is highy professional yet easy to use in its small form.

A very versatile advanced point & shoot camera.

This is a great little camera even thogh it is now out of production and probably replaced by equally competant (if not superior) models.
Called an advanced point & shoot, it has many user adjustable features allowing more experimentation and more precise control of modes and parameters: largely things beyond my technical level but wonderful to have available.
It's compact and durable with a handsome titanium body. But don't allow anyone to sit on the turned-on camera with its lens projected: it will wreck the lens extension and focusing mechanism.
More available options include a hot shoe allowing an extra external flash unit. A very limited number of accessory lenses may be attached for wide angle or telephoto use. A really nice little camera.Read full review...

Nikon P5100

Having lost my P5000, I knew the P5100 would be even a little better. Although
used, it was very thoughtfully packed, with all accessories still wrapped as tho
new. I've taken a few photos and it seems to have the same "action" as my old
camera. I was going for the same feeling.
I did have the option of buying a Nikon point and shoot with much better optical
zoom - maybe that'll be my next camera. Or was tempted by Canon's G11 - tho it's a bit bigger.
But not to think about that, I'm thrilled to bits with my purchase of the P5100.Read full review...

Hot shoe & a viewfinder

Shutter delay and very bright red-eye eliminator are hard to get used to. But I really wanted that pocket viewfinder camera - and this works well for me. Lots of options on white balance and ISO and ability to customize menu/controls helps.Read full review...
