Super Quiet, high-quality vinyl

I've purchased a lot of high-end vinyl over the years and I'm skeptical of those claiming to have a superior product. So, to that end, I researched Pallas and determined they'd produce a high-quality pressing. Now, in this particular Nirvana Nevermind case, I don't know what they used as data input (I suspect a big .wav file) and I see no evidence they were handed the master tape and/and tried to do a 1/2 speed master, etc. Nevermind was always kind of a lo-fi outing and there's no evidence anyone in the audio chain had Steely Dan pretentions, nor any evidence of a digital front-end recording. So, in terms of "new found" information on the vinyl, I don't think you'll hear anything "new." That said, this is the quietest vinyl I've yet heard on my system...absolutely dead quiet...an amazing feat...and the 180g record is ruler-flat, too. I don't hear any engineering / tampering either. In = Out. A quality package. Read full review...

Amazing sound quality

I'm always a bit skeptical when buying albums, especially in the grading process. This truly is new with outstanding mastering. Shot with a zero stat and a light clothing, I played it with absolutely no his or pops. Sound quality was right up there with the best of my LP's. I believe this is one of Nirvana all time best, hands down. Read full review...

Pallas presses Quality vinyl.

The Pallas pressing of Nirvanas self-titled album is one of the best sounding presses out there and at a fraction of the cost the others, which makes this the most logical choice for wallet watchers. Great album. Great sound. Great price. Read full review...

Smells like awsomeness

With the exception of the original pressing which goes for $150 now, this is THE BEST I have ever heard this record. The peoples at Palais got it right. Huge sound and lots of detail; way more than you get from a standard CD.Read full review...

Great pressing of a classic

Part of the Back to Black series. The sound quality is superb, very little record noise, and the music is rich and vibrant. The download is in MP3 320kbps format. Would recommend adding this release of a classic to your collection.Read full review...

Vinyl lovers...this is for you!

This vinyl version of "Nervermind" is fantastic! The power of the music jumps out of your speakers without making your ears bleed. Cobain's desperate and cynical vocals are crystal clear and the instruments all have "space" around them to make it all breathe. The vinyl pressing itself is quiet. Bravo...I will never play the CD version again. Read full review...
