Great scanner overall.

I didn't give this scanner 5 stars because NEAT tries to breathe down your neck about using their cloud based system. It is more cost effective for me to use my own storage and or cloud based system. It reads the receipts very well. Sometimes it misses a beat here and there, but for the most part it does a great job. I scan everything and make it digital these days. :-)Read full review

Scanner is great and the software is great and easy to use but is trial version and then you have to pay a monthly fee to use it very disappointing no where on line or the stores tell you that you need to pay to use what you bought. Does Exactly What I Need

This scanner was exactly what I was looking for! First, know that this is not a good scanner for photos. However, I had recently come into a lot of family documents I wanted to scan. This scanner allows me to stack up several documents in the feeder and scan them in one chunk. The scanner can do both sides of the document in one pass as well, which is really handy. The colors aren't perfect and the basic scanning software doesn't allow for a lot of settings, but I was just wanting to digitize a bunch of documents before throwing away the originals. NeatDesk is a Rip Off

I didn't bother to set it up. I found out after purchasing the product that not only does NeatDesk charge approx $500 for their scanners, but a monthly fee for the software. If I would have known I had to pay monthly to use the scanner, I never would have purchased it. I plan on trying to resell it. It's still in the box it came in.Read full review
