National Geographic metal detector
The light weight little detector stows in small space and works well in back packing. Grandsons enjoyed using it to locate coins and various metals within 3 inches of coil in grass and dirt. They are now addicted to the hobby and require more advanced models. Even located a man's wedding band lost under a yard full of scattered saw chips. Unit only made one high pitch sound. Never changed when passed over something metal.
