Gift for the Aviary
I bought this scale and donated it to the Aviary that I volunteer at. The birds have been very open to it. Everyone who will step up is getting weighed more regularly, and because of the perch, I am optimistic that we will be able to get more birds to step up on the scale, even if they don't step up for hands.
This is so great for our birds. The scale is of good quality and easy to use and other volunteers have really taken to it.
I can't say it is a good value, but only because of exchange and shipping costs that made the cost so much more than what it would be. That said, I could not find a comparable product in Canada and I was so happy to find this. Our birds will be better cared for, and that will make them happy too.

Great scale but NOT great value
This is a great product but unfortunately overpriced mostly due to the conversion from USD ($) and the outrageous postage costs. Nevertheless a great scale and a pity not available in Australia, at least that would reduce the postage costs and make it more value for the money.
Also the option to have a stainless to without the perch would be great as then the scale could be used for normal domestic purposes as well as an avian scale. My attempts to find out if the stainless steel tray can be purchased separately without the perch addition have so far not brought me any joy.Read full review...
