A quality smartphone at a budget price

I have been extremely happy so far with this phone. Working on a budget I didn't want to give up too many features and the Moto G has been perfect. Feels great in my hand, and has functioned beautifully. I've owned an iPhone and this compares quite comfortably. If you want a quality smartphone at a reasonable price you should have the Moto G on your list. I started looking at it because so many reviewers included it as one of the best smartphones on a budget. My experience so far says those reviews are bang on.Read full review...

Best budget phone out now.

I bought this phone for the battery life. Before the Galaxy S5 came out, The Moto X had the longest lasting battery. The Moto G is just as good in that department. I've gone for 48 hours with fair use on a single charge. moderate to heavy use would last you between 13-18 hours. It sports Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and can support an SD card with up to 32GB. The Moto G runs smooth and does everything I need it to do and then some. The camera is decent and the web surfing is also smooth. The only downside is it doesn't have an NFC chip and the battery cannot be removed. Both are okay because uses for NFC aren't too big yet in the US and the battery the battery lasts long enough so it can stay put for now. It's a great piece of gear for an unlocked 4G LTE smartphone.Read full review...

The best value for your money in an Android smartphone -- Period.

Paid a bit extra to get the Dual-SIM XT1033 model (usually Euro only), and it works great on GSM/3G Data here in the U.S. You can get an 8 GB U.S.-only model straight from Google for less $.
The 4.5-inch, 720p screen is clear, bright, and just the right size for most women or those with smaller hands. The battery life, build quality and ergonomics are all excellent; in fact, better than many cell phones at twice this price. The removable back shell makes it both customizable and extensible (with an optional spare battery). All in all, the best value android phone out there right now. Upcoming Moto E may be even CHEAPER!Read full review...

Excellent phone!

This is the best phone you can buy for this price. The phone is very responsive, access to apps is fast and the design is good. It comes with latest Andrid OS (Kit kat 4.4.4) The camera is good for the day, but in low light conditions could be better, but photos are above 5 mpx average quality. 8 Gb memory is enough for me, but those who wants to put their music library in it I recommend then 16gb. Nice display with excellent resolution!Read full review...

Best quality phone for the price

Its the best among low end phones as it was said about it before.

I definitely like it over Samsung duos2 or lenovos of the same price range. Display is crisp. Dunno about xiami redmi tho...which is hot now in singapore.

Easy to use, a bit diff from other androids i used. Quadcore processor runs things smoothly. Camera is fine. Good not great. Its very good for medium user like me.

Cons: wish there was sms/call block builtin. can get an app for that tho.
available ram is ~852MB which might be the first performance ceiling that will be hit.

The best 4 G LTE phone for the money. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!

One of my favorite phones. They screen is the sharpest and clearest I have ever seen on any phone. The battery life is great, it lasts all day. This model via Cricket is 4 G LTE and it's as fast in data speed as my Samsung Galaxy S4.

Takes really great pictures for a 5 megapixel. The front camera is much sharper than you would think with the 1.3 megapixel.

The features are user friendly and I just love this phone.

Good simple basic smartphone!

Love the simplicity. Relatively long battery life for a light user like myself. The 4G LTE helps the data speed. Reasonably priced.
Lags a little bit when multiple apps are running at same time. At times, phone lags when I have google doc opened as I am typing.Read full review...

Awesome phone! Great value for the money! Horrible camera!

Great phone! Super fast, current version of Android & great reception (remember it's a phone)

Only 2 complaints, the camera is bad... my last 2 phones had MUCH better cameras & no SD card.
<br>With those 2 complaints, it's still an incredible phone for the moneyRead full review...
