Makes me forget my former Pixel phone

I was a very happy Google Pixel user but needed a new phone for less than $200. This Moto G Power 2020 phone has most of the features I loved on the Pixel--including the Google Assistant, adaptive display, adaptive battery, and Google Assistant call screening--without the Pixel price. I lose the Pixel's outstanding camera but I'm pleased with what I see in the Moto camera so far. What I really love about this phone is the monster battery. Battery endurance was always a problem with the Pixel. Motorola has also included a variety of functional usability features that make using the phone easier. I like the "twist the wrist twice" like a doorknob to activate the camera instantly. You can also turn on the flashlight by making two quick, short "chop" motions with your hand. The 64 Gb memory is more than enough. On occasion, the phone has exhibited a very short lag but it hasn't been a problem. Very pleased so far.Read full review...

Very Excellent phone, Best One So Far!!!

I have been very happy with this phone, and I've had it well over a year now. I did get a 128 GB memory card because I needed to download many apps, and store pictures too. It is very easy to use, but you may want to look up some tips for operating it faster, as I did. The phone is larger than others I've had, but it's not so large you can't hold it comfortably in your hand. The battery lasts a very long time, a couple of days with my daily use. I haven't had any issues with it suddenly stopping or getting stuck on any page. It connects to the Internet quickly, it has Bluetooth capabilities, and it also pairs with other devices. The camera takes pretty good pictures too. The battery does not come out, just to keep that in mind. Overall, it's a great working phone!Read full review...

If you're looking for a very nice budget phone, this is the one.

This is a great phone so far.

The only thing that's disappointing is that there is no way to format the SD card as internal storage.
The phone has 64 GB of storage, so it may not even be an issue, and removing the code involved probably made room for another option or feature.

The cameras are pretty impressive. I haven't gotten the hang of which one to use when, but they take great pictures.

The IPS LCD screen is big and bright. It made me think it was a far more advanced screen technology, but it's good old reliable LCD kicked up to make you wonder if it's Amoled. It's fast, too. I have it set on 'slower' performance for battery power, but I don't really notice it ever being slow.

The day I started it, it updated to Android 11 and it's running perfectly.

2020 Moto G Power - great phone, great price, best value for money

2020 Moto G Power is the best phone for the price with the largest battery. The 2020 model also has better specs in every aspect than the 2021 or 2022 models. It has great screen resolution, a medium-fast processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal with ability to add up to a 2TB MicroSD card, Moto actions built in, and It runs on Android 11, and the XT2041-4 model is universally unlocked for any carrier. The only con is it does not allow Wi-Fi Calling and does not have NFC or wireless charging, but otherwise, it's a good phone.Read full review...

Great Value

I had a different brand before, loved it. The new version was lacking in upgrades and updates, so some researched pointed me towards this phone. Big screen, nice graphics, multi-function camera. Lots of storage, and accepts an SD Card for more. The body has a bit of weight to it, and it's a bit thick. It's solid. I'm not a big phone person, but I've grown to really like this model.
One major disappointment, hence the 4 stars, is that it's only 3G. I didn't realize it when I was researching. I didn't think 3G phones were still made at this point. So, that aspect will limit it to a certain degree. But don't be fooled, it's a smooth, fast phone!

Great phone. Outstanding battery capacity. Unbelievable value.

This is a great phone. I am not a heavy phone user, but this phone does everything most people will ever need. The 3 days between phone charges is underselling its ability. When I am not heavily using this phone, this phone could easily go 4 days between charging. The processor is plenty fast and the it memory capacity is more than adequate. Get a good case and you will not be disappointed with the purchase. Read full review...

No regrets...

My history with Motorola phones goes back to the Motorola RAZR V3 in my dresser drawer and is still functional. Upgraded this time from a Moto X4 and loving it so far. The Moto G Power (2020) has stellar battery life, minimal bloatware, and does everything you need it to quickly. No need to spend hundreds more on the latest fad phone when this company excels in high quality mid-range products. Still getting used to the added weight of the 5000 MHz battery, but it's not a huge issue.
You won't regret stepping up for a Moto G Power.

Excellent! Motorola G-Power 64GB

Takes the cake and then some! Nice responsiveness, enough to work multiple apps at the same time. Camera works quite well for basic product photos and video which is all I need it for. At 64gb, this phone has plenty of starting storage for me. With an additional sd card (up to 512gb) it would be simple to enable more space for photos, video, or music, which I hope to do later. As for overall phone design and quality, all I will say is that it feels nice and solid in my hand. Recommend for anyone in need of a basic smartphone with longer battery life for everyday use.

Moto g power is a fine upgrade from a g7 optimo maxx

My previous phone was a Moto G7 optimo maxx. I was very happy with it. I also am very happy with the Moto G Power. It has some upgrades from the G7. Notably higher screen resolution, stereo sound, faster hardware, Android 11, longer battery life, more internal storage and others.

Here is a more detailed comparison of the the phones and characteristics:
