Gives more torque to the twist and lasts forever

So I purchased the 1/2(2767-20) to remove fasteners on the state road trucks. So one day I decided to compare the XC5.0ah to the HO12.0ah (both fully charged) on the lug nuts on said trucks. The 5.0 can remove the lug nuts with a lot of hammering but the 12.0 can do it right now with little to no hammering. I have also done this comparison on other high torque fasteners...the 12.0 just out preforms the 5.0 every time. Also it can tighten the 3-1/4in nut on the rear trans box to 675ftlbs with two reducers for the 1in drive socket. This battery is worth every penny!!! It turns the 2767 (or the 3/8) into a juiced up monster. Read full review...

Good Battery worth the money spent

Used these batteries before but took this one a long time to fully charge, almost 48hours on a Milwaukee rapid charger. Tested charger and it tested fine charges my other 12.0 Battery pack up quickly but this one took a whole minute, none the less I haven't had a chance to use it since it took so long to charge but should here in the near futureRead full review...

Big but powerfull

I bought the new M18 leaf blower and it went through my 4.0 battery pretty quickly if I used it on the high setting so I decided to purchase the 12.0 battery. Like everyone else has said this is a big heavy battery and wouldn't be recommended for alot of applications. I was afraid it might be to heavy to use on the leaf blower comfortably but because of the way its balanced it seems to be ok but definitely added some weight you can feel while you use it. Now the good part.....this thing lasts forever! I actually used my blower to do my complete yard three times before I finally had to charge it. Another thing to note is I have the standard Milwaukee charger and it takes several hours to recharge. Long story short the battery is big and bulky but it has tons of power and lasts an extremely long time.Read full review...

These three bats let me buck up about a cord.

These batteries are nothing short of amazing. I have three of them now. I got them for my milwaukee chainsaw that I added a 20" bar to . It is now my main wood gathering chain saw. No more hearing protection, no more mixing gas, just unbelievable. I cut and split 6 cord of doug fir every year. These three bats let me buck up about a cord each outing . I've all but retired my Husqvarna 272 chainsaw with a 24" bar chainsaw . These bats are grate with my grinder and impacts that I use at work. As soon as you can get one or two of these at this price . It will blow you away. I run a 35 deg pitch on my chains, that's very sharp and should be dressed with a file ever bat change . Its a 20" chain and only takes a few min. Read full review...

The beast that makes power and goes the distance!

I'm not new to these High output batteries, but the HD12.0 still impresses me and the guys every time. It is a tank. So be prepared for an extra 3.5 pounds of weight. Honestly, we run these batteries on the quik lok trimmer and accessories, on the chainsaw, the new rear handle circ saw, the sds max, table saw, high tq impact, etc. They've never let me down. Tons of power, tons of run time, and just an awesome built battery. We also run the HO cp3.0's, HO 6.0, HO 8.0..... And the standard batteries are still in the fleet too. They're all great. If you want the most power possible, jump into the HO line of batteries. Larger, but just a better battery in my opinion. When I thought M18 batteries couldn't be any better, boom.... Here we are. We are also in a couple of other lines. But nobody is doing battery and tool technology quite like Milwaukee. Awesome job! Just a side note, the new xc8.0 is great if you need the high output power with far less gerth. It is a new go to on smaller saws and hand tools. Size is great for what you're getting. And the HO cp3.0 is perfect on a drill or impact driver, and anything else you feel. Here's a pic of the High output line. From 12.0HD, xc8.0, xc6.0, cp3.0 get that 8 if you can. Get the 3's if you like a pretty compact battery that performs like the xc5.0 in power. Hope this helps someone!Read full review...

Beast

I bought this battery to use with the M18 fuel blower. I didn't bother with the 8 or 9ah batteries and instead went right to this bad boy. Bc I had a charger already I didn't need to do the package deal and for the price at which this battery was bought it was a no brainer. This battery is massive but is complementary to the weight of the blower. If you have the M18 blower, chainsaw, string trimmer or other tools that shred batteries, get this battery and transform the power and run time of the tool. I'd say constant runtime on blower is easily an 45-hour on rabbit/high mode and even gives a bit more power. Don't even try a 5 or 6ah battery bc you will not be happy.Read full review...

Brute Force Power

I got my first one of these batteries with my chainsaw, and I just bought a second one. This battery is an animal. I also have 9Ah batteries, and you would think they have 3/4 the capacity of this one, but that is theory only. On the chainsaw, this one runs circles around the 9Ah in torque and run time. The smaller the battery, the higher its internal resistance. Today a friend was trying to undo lug nuts on a truck wheel with his 1/2" M18 Fuel impact wrench, with a 3Ah battery, and he was just rattling away without success. I loaned him my 12Ah, and the impact wrench suddenly was on steroids. Holy cow!!! Yes, this battery is big and heavy. If you only drill a few small holes, you won't need it. Besides, it will not fit some of the older M18 tools because of its size. But if you have a high-draw M18 tool, don't try to save money by buying the smaller batteries. Also, unless you are willing to wait half a day for it to recharge, get the Rapid Charger as well. They are available as a set.Read full review...

Need a 12Ah Milwaukee battery consider this one!

I mainly for now use this on my new Gen 2 Milwaukee blower. It allows me to finish my extended yard jobs with the leaves in the fall without any trips back for another battery. I mean I can discharge it fully. But by the time that happens, I have usually finished what I had in mind for that time anyway. And for me when I do fully discharge it the pack is still cool enough that it starts charging immediately. My smaller older battery will need to cool before it will start to charge. Great price, and quick delivery. Read full review...

m18 12.0(amp hour) battery

Milwaukee has NAILED it with this 12 amp-hour battery.

Keeping the M18 line alive and well this battery leads the way in cordless tool tech. All of the Big tool companies are switching to new style 21700 cells which allow for much larger instantious power demand. (note: these are GRADE-A-CELLS)
For the United States , Milwaukee took the fist leap into the larger cells (compared to 18650) and it shows when you try these batteries. cordless tools are now at the point corded-performance.

a large battery as this will require a longer charge time and if you do not have a RAPID charger, may be worth picking up. ill leave the math to you, but for simple guesses, the standard milwaukee charger is 3-3.5 amps per hour RapidCharger is 6amps per hour.
(additional time needs to be acounted for with cooling and ballancing)

Now if Milwaukee would only make a small PURE-SINE-INVERTER so we could charge our laptops at work or such from these massive batteries. Modern job worksites are still a tool battle ground but include computers and radios which still run off AC. Some Jobsites even have EVOLVING prints which require a computer for updates/rev's.

Dewalt is still the ONLY tool company that offers a INVERTER for the modern age (runs off dewalts FLEXVOLT)

Product Review

I have four Milwaukee fuel tools. 1/2" impact, 3/8" impact, drill, and chainsaw, all use the same battery series. I have used several other brands in my life, but NONE have been as reliable as Milwaukee and NONE have the battery life or capacity as the Milwaukee Fuel battery. The 12.0 battery is the 'saw's' friend. And on long jobs, the 1/2" impact's friend. I wish I had these items 25 years ago. These batteries rock !
Beware of fakes, copies, or no box items. Get the sealed OEM items.
