The real deal

This is the genuine Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver, not one of the terrible knock-offs. It works fantastically right out of the box on Windows 10. It doesn't come in the original packaging but that's not a problem because it's about half the price of one that's still in the package. It appears to be brand new, never used. It didn't even have a smudge or a fingerprint on it. It came with the manual, safety info, and installation CD. I didn't even need to use the CD because Windows 8+ includes the needed software. Actually works

I tried two non-microsoft receivers to save the $6. Neither worked very well and I had to reinstall the drivers after every boot. I finally sprung for the Microsoft branded one and it plugged in, auto installed the driver, and it just worked. My controller connects every time and has practically no control lag (I feel like it's faster than my wired one).

Great Device, Highly recommended for PC gaming.

I've been using an Xbox 360 controller for Windows & receiver for about 6 years. My last one was fried after plugging it into my Steam Link. I was so happy to find this on Ebay because it's exactly like my old one, even the CD and manual are to same. So, I didn't have to install the disc being they are same. The delivery was fast and the quality is top notch being this is not a knockoff but a genuine Microsoft product. Great solution for wireless controllers with Retropie

Works great with Retropie.

Pairing is painless. I use 4 wireless XBox 360 controllers with a Retropie, and this works great for that.

Receiver is as described and easy enough to set up. As it’s not genuine MS, you have to search for a driver for it to work (just google how-to) but it’s nothing too complicated.

Simple and streamlined

I was a little skeptical of the product, but it's authentic (or if it's not it might as well be) and (at least with Windows 10) it works exactly how I'd want it to. I didn't need to use the driver disk included, I just plugged it in and it worked. Once I connected an Xbox 360 controller, it did automatically download a driver, so I'm assuming the disk is for if your gaming pc is offline.Read full review...
