I would highly recommend this for college students who are new to Mac

Not as fully-functional as the Windows variety ... about 85%. To me it's an obvious slap-together product designed to capture the Mac market. I need to go back and forth with my documents (book manuscripts) between Windows and Mac versions. I tried installing the software on my MacBook, but it wouldn't work. Once its downloaded on the computer Microsoft office blocks it from opening up and send you to Apple play store where you are asked to upgrade to 365 subscription. If you have any instructions that can help install the program please send it over. I have the MacBook pro 2013 with Catalina operating system. Read full review

2011 still does it.
2011 still works. I didnt use the disc but went to the microsoft website "old version" download and used the code given in the box i bought. their website is sloooooooow to get into, but once you do it was quick and easy.Read full review
