Where have you been for the past 50 years?
This adaptor makes obsolete ALL of the other methods of making micrographs, and does so for -- literally -- pennies. It is compact, adapts to virtually all other microscopes (and other optical devices as well), and is too simple for words to mount. It ends the frustration, tedium and multiple steps needed to use unwieldy, top-heavy adaptors. Unless you have struggled to produce micrographs with other adaptors and cameras, you really can't appreciate how wonderful this device truly is. Works well and gives good, sharpe images through microscope eyepiece tube. Will need adapter sleeve (not included) to fit some common larger tubes. One initial glitch was compression of my iPhone 6 volume adjustment button by the adjustable phone gripping pincers, but this was solved by adjusting the set up.
