Took longer than I thought to get the plastic mounts and faceplate to align correctly.

I have an old '92 Chevy PU with OEM Radio and Cassette/EQ. This brought the old truck into current technology, but I had a hard time with the supplied mounts and getting the faceplate where it needed to be. A couple hours later and having to modify the side mounts with a drill and knife I managed to make it mate, much more than I expected, but you need to make the fitment. I chose this enclosure since my old truck wouldn't accept a double-din. This is mounting on the truck's trans-hump next to the 4x4 shifter, maybe with a slight enclosure lift kit to orient the faceplate for better viewing. I also set up a universal connection in the back so it can plug into the factory wiring or stand-alone connections for the camper, etc. All-in-all this did the trick despite the weak plastic mounts I had to work around.Read full review...
