Good kit and good extraction but faulty fan supplied
Kit came quickly and was as expected with LED (and little driver) for the extraction grille, decent length of ducting, cable ties, outlet grille (which I didn't need or use) and fan with an integral backdraught shutter.
Fitted easily but a little awkward getting at the fan electrics when installed, though enough room for 1mm cable to fit fairly easily if done before final fixing. Good suction and much better than the standard little fans.
However the timer function was not working on mine and needed replacement, so the fan is being returned tomorrow - hopefully the replacement will work as well as all the other Manrose fans I've fitted.Read full review...

Good fan but has a well publicised issue
Brought to replace a previous Manrose fan. This model has the led light and a non return vane on the back of the fan to prevent cold air returning to the room, here is where the problem lies. The vane uses a very low quality spring that does not have sufficient strength to close the vane when the fan is mounted sideways in a loft space that is pretty much standard. When laid sideways the vane door opens and will not close hence rendering its purpose totally useless. On contacting Manrose they are sending out a second spring to see if this assists in any way however I do not hold out much hope of this. Fan system is fine, if you don’t need the no return option then go ahead and buy, otherwise seek out alternatives that might do the job better. Great price , great fan
I have fitted a lot of manrose fans and they have never let me down and they used to have a good priced showerlite version at an extremely good price but since the introduction of LED lamped versions the price has shot up unreasonably but this one is much more reasonable with a more powerful fan.Read full review...
