Good for the price.

This is a good little amp especially for the price. It can get pretty loud and drives 8 ohm, 4 ohm, or 2 ohm configurations. The only thing I wish it had was a mono input and output for doing live music. With this unit you have right and left input and corresponding outputs and if the right input is plugged in no sound comes out of the left which is a little annoying if you have limited outputs from your system or console. This would be resolved with a 4 or 8 channel mixer to have more inputs and outputs then a console has but for the price it is a good unit and sounds clean and has a relatively low noise floor. In other words you don't hear static coming through the speakers at any volume especially when the volume is lower.Read full review...

Take care with understanding the power ratings

The power ratings shown are peak to peak power values for both channels combined. For example, 500W @ 4 ohms is really only 250W peak to peak power for each channel. This equates to 88.4 watts RMS per channel. If you are expecting 500W RMS per channel into 4 ohms, you are going to be very disappointed. Amp appears to be well constructed. No problems so far. Only rated this as 3 stars because I thought the specs were deceptive.Read full review...

Less than 100w per ch rms but sounds clean!

I bought 1 used off of craigslist. 2000w is quite deceptive. I replaced a 150w rms per channel amp with ths 1. It isn't as loud as my 150w rms amp but it does sound clean right up to clip volume. Having the level meters(led lights) is quite handy so I can run at the highest level below clip I can. It doesn't have line out xlr's to run a 2nd amp or to daisy chain powered speakers. I gave it 4 stars only because of the deceptive amp rating and no xlr outs. Worth $100 all day long, but, you may want to look at the higher watt unit... SYS-4500 if you need real power!Read full review...

Power amp

This power amp is excellent value. It replaced my Dynaco power amp it has fine clean sound. My only complaint is the two fan are way too noisy. I will replace them.

Small Church Amp

Small Church (room of 100 people) - Replaces the bad amplifier with this unit. I was surprised that it had a crisp clear sound. I turned the channel levels all the way up and added gain at the mixerboard preamp without distortion. Likewise, the unit was not clipping or peaking on the LED display. With better preamplification than my Mackie mixer, the output would be full and powerful. Reproduces the sound beautifully.Read full review...

Be sure you pay attention to matching ohms and watts between your amp and speakers, this amp works really well so far, so long as you match everything up like youre supposed to. Alot of negative reviews about the power, but alot of those seem to be operator error. I have 3 of these and the power my pa system just fine with plenty of head room, running each channel with a 4 ohm loadRead full review...

great deal for a commercial amp

I've purchased 4 of these so far to use on jukebox wallbox systems in restaurants. The amp can take a 2 ohm load per channel and we have used this amp in systems with 13 wallboxes that have speakers at 45ohm each so this amp can handle that load well and put out more than enough volume. I also like that it has speakon connectors as well as the banana plug sockets for speaker connections and 1/4" and XLR inputs. Internal cooling fans are a bonus too. I think it's a good amp for a very low cost.Read full review...

Good Value for Price

Pretty solid build. Haven't had it long enough to make any judgement. Reasons I purchased (besides low price) were...sufficient power output for my use, perfect desired Input/Output connectors, nice clean front panel with large volume-gain controls. Fan is a little noisy.
Will update if necessary.

Great Product

It came very well boxed, was ready to use right out of the box, works as well as the QSR that we have if not somewhat better. The fans keep the unit cool even when it is working hard though they are a little loud. Very flexible in hooking up and seems to be very dependable. Great Value for the money, you could spend $300-$600 and not get the performance that this amp puts out.Read full review...

Good amplifier, loud fans

This is a nice amplifier for the price. It has a large toroidal transformer and the sound is excellent. My only complaint is that the 2 fans are relatively loud.
