I got this because I dislike ethanol in my tank but no choice to use it.
In my area some percentage of gas is ethanol. There might be a fill up station that only pumps straight gasoline but I've never seen on in my area, so it's a necessary evil.
The issue at least to me is, ethanol is corrosive even in small quantities yet that's what we are forced to use in our expensive engines. Supposedly the car's designed to handle "gasohol" in low percentages as the carmaker supposedly designed and tested fuel system o-rings and seals to tolerate it. Even so I'd run straight gas if I could but since I can't anymore there is this stuff.
I gave a bottle to my friend she reported her old 2001 V6 Solara really came alive with Lucas in the tank. To me anything that performs above and beyond its primary function is a bonus so, fine.
The main issue with buying this stuff is finding the right price. Before I bought from the seller I did I did a whole lot of dividing by 12 and 8 finding the price for 8 oz of the stuff (that ought to last for two fill-ups in a 20-gallon gas tank car). So when I found the cheapest per oz price that's what I bought. Read full review...

My cousin has his own garage. He recommended this product to keep my engine free from ethanol gum-up. I have been using this product for several years with great results!
The best thing about buying a case from this seller is the 40% reduction in cost per bottle as compared to Walmart off the shelf!Read full review...

Internal combustion engines need to address the changing fuel types
Ethanol is not a friend to gasoline engines. Additives are necessary as fuels change. So far so good. add 1oz. per 5 gal. Engine designers and government agencies controlling fuel mixes need to address the consumer falloutRead full review...
