Its an on-off button
I purchased this LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch to use as a switch for my Zmodo Security Camera that is indoors.
The camera's power supply has a micro usb end that plugs into the wire in the camera so I bought LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch and put between them...
When I get home, I push the button on the LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch and it clicks and it turns the power to the camera off, and before I go to bet I push the button on the LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch and it clicks and it turns the power to the camera back on. Off in gthe morning while i eat breakfast, On before i go to work..
After several weeks of using the LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch several times a day it has held up very well and I have had o problems
The LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch works very well for this purpose and i am sure if you need a switch to turn something with micro usb ports on and off the LoveRPi MicroUSB Power Extension Cable with Click Button Power Switch will do a good job for you as well.

Very convenient
This power button is really convenient for anything that doesn't have one . I use it for. PI and it's just so much easier to hit the button when I shut it down to turn it off than reaching down to the outlet and unplugging it and plugging it in each time I use it.
