Love the whole Diana camera collection

Loading the film can be tricky sometimes. This little camera requires a bit of patience when loading film, advancing, and of course the developing process. I can't get enough of these!! Whether for collection purposes or shooting, these make great experimental images. For being a "simple" plastic camera, you can do a lot, creatively, you just need the will and imagination!Read full review...

Super fun lo-fi camera

Its such a small camera, that its easy to carry around. You can easily wear it around your neck while hiking or walking, or just as easily throw it in a small pack or purse.
While I do a lot of my photography in 120 format, this camera takes 35mm and that makes it so much easier to process.
The camera can switch between a half-frame format and square photos. That means you can take up to 72 photos on an otherwise 36 frame roll of film if you stick with the 1/2 frame format. Which I interpret as a licence to be as experimental as I like, because I'm not really wasting a ton of film.
I also like that you can switch from cloudy to sunny apertures, and there is a bulb function that allows for LONG exposures. And those functions truly work-- I've taken 5 hour exposure shots of star trails and they are surprisingly crisp for a plastic lens.
The only thing I have to say as a warning is that it may take the first roll to really figure out the distances, and to remember to make sure that the settings are in the right places before the shutter clicks. (Which is a sound I just love!)
I now have 2 of these cameras, one for color film, and one for another option. It truly is a fun camera to carry around and to capture your life.

Not for Everyone, but Definitely for You

RANT: I took three rolls the first day I got the camera and I LOVE the way my pictures came out. Yes, it's not digital and yes, you have to wait for your pictures to be developed *gasp*, but we live in a world with too much instant gratification and a little patience will do us all some good. I had a couple that came out like "normal" shots and they're are kind of a nice surprise. Overall, they have a lot of character and getting them to be in focus is tougher than other cameras I've used (also have a RICOH from the 1950's and a Mercury from the 1920's - that thing is a BEAST to use) but that's really the whole point, isn't it? We live in an imperfect world and 20 megapixel, perfectly framed, focused and color-corrected photos don't really represent most of our lives.Read full review...

Small, easy to use, analogue and beautiful!

I loved my Diana Mini since I hold it in my hands for the first time. I like the Diana+, but her little sister offers the possibility of shooting with 35 mm and also half frame! That means 72 photos in just one 36 exposures film. For one who is starting to experience in the lomography world, I would say the Mini is the best option.Read full review...

Great fun!

Though everyone has a phone that takes pics, I was looking for a fun Christmas gift for my daughter who loves anything retro. This camera was just what I needed. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed learning how to use a 35 mm camera and this one was easy to use and fit the "retro" bill!Read full review...

Fun Toy!

While rather limited in photographic ability, it's unlimited in fun! I like the square format on 35mm film. You need good light, fast film and a sense of playful abandon. Take some double exposures, shoot from the hip. You'll be pleasantly surprised what you can get.Read full review...

Cute little camera

its a really small and easy to carry it with you
but for me the developing special sized film was not easy
So before you buy it you should know that getting good picture might be hard.
