I bought this Lincoln grease gun because I got frustrated with the smaller generic brand 3oz grease guns. I had 2 of them and I got tired of them bypassing grease every time I used it. It made a mess and wasted money buying extra cartridges.
So I decided to try a name brand and thus far satisfied with it's performance. Priming the grease was only SLIGHTLY difficult. The Lincoln preformed well with very slight grease bypassing (IF any). The pistol grip was great, allowing one hand operation while the other hand holding the hose in place. To assure no bypassing of grease during storage, I would recommend unloading the spring by pulling and stowing the cartridge/reservoir seal handle into it's slot. Best Damn Grease Gun I've Ever Had
Yeah, I figured that title would bring you in. But it's also true - after years of hassling with cheapo grease guns that leaked, I could tell this one was different. For one thing, this one was heavy - obviously not made by a bunch of penny-pinching bean counters who are willing to sacrifice quality for a few cents extra profit. gun does not work
Gun is not working - air locks in greasing cartridge - gun unable to clear them. Have tried putting gun in sun to heat grease and pound on front to release air pocket - works for a few strokes then same problem repeats itself.
