Good unit with one flaw

The product operates well and has good illumination. It is weather resistant and my former unit lasted for years with one exception - the unit has a plastic "hinge" that can be broken (and was) by too aggressive operators who flip the cover past the "stop" on the case. As a "fix" I installed a metal limit tab to the rear of the case on the stand it is mounted to so the lid could not be opened past the stop built into the case. I am pleased with the product as is provides an intuitive alternative to opening our entrance gate besides the remote "clickers" we have and is a long lasting product if operated correctly.Read full review
