Awesome kit
Bought this for LEGO Saturn V model. The LUT paper model is very complex, a whole set of pieces to cut, fold and glue, a whole challenge for the builder. So far l’m still cutting and building the LUT base, so l cannot make a full review of this. Anyway, the 90 pages pdf manual, is well written and illustrative, the process is slow but interesting. Lots of patience required, and some material is needed to be acquired (at least in my case). I’ll update this when finish. Pics uploaded
As promised I finally finish, and the Saturn V looks just amazing, check the pics below. It took me almost 2 years to set it up working on it every now and then, and dedicating more time during the lockdown. The people who designed this are genius, lots of details like video cameras, swingarm connections, the colby crane, what a job they made. Dedication and patience pays off, so if u buy this take it easy, follow the instructions and your kit will look great. Important it needed 4 floors more to look more realistic so l ordered an additional set of sheets to fit the lego Saturn V.
In the pictures l added a 70s like filter to make it more realistic, and in the white room u can see an astronaut preparing to enter the commend module.Read full review

One of a kind kit to help set off your Apollo Saturn V kit.
This kit is made of high quality craft paper and comes in several sheets containing the printed parts of the Launch Umbilical Tower. As there is no kit of this tower, this is the only game in town. It is not recommended for novice modelers as it requires advanced skills to assemble. Once complete it is a good companion piece to any of the 1:144th scale Apollo rocket kits on the market. You will need to use either corrugated cardboard or foam board cut to size to make the paper base more sturdy. The instructions are clear and concise and walk you through the detailed assembly. Challenging but fun.
As I child I had assembled quite a few plastic models. The parts in those kits are formed and once removed from their trees are easily assembled. A paper model requires a step up in skill.
Like many people I was ready to dig-in as soon as the kit arrived but, the sheets of paper suddenly forced me to think about every step I would take to assemble the tower. One of the first things stated in the instructions is to become familiar with the parts and the steps needed to build the various parts.
The layout of components on the sheet is well thought out. If you do a little research for assembling a paper model and take your time, this kit will be something to proudly display.Read full review

This is a heck of an awesome 'memory' throwback. I was at NASA recently and I always look at 39A in awe. I have been putting together this tower and am I amazed at the details. I'm a first time modeler and with reading the instructions, looking at the pictures (provided) and a little thinking it has turned out well so far.
